The North Carolina Association of REALTORS® is a non-profit trade association founded in 1921 and incorporated on Sept. 14, 1935. From an initial membership of 135, NCAR today has a membership of more than 32,000 real estate professionals representing 65 local associations statewide. The NC Association of REALTORS® is the largest and oldest state association in North Carolina.

The North Carolina Petroleum & Convenience Marketers Association was established in 1927 and is a trade organization (non-governmental) composed of wholesale/retail petroleum marketers and convenience stores/service stations throughout North Carolina. The Association exists for the sole purpose of promoting the welfare and protecting the interest of those engaged in marketing and distribution of petroleum products in North Carolina.

The Annual NCPCM/Realtor Gameplan as follows:

· NCPCM’s contractor, Warm Thoughts, will personally visit 80 real estate offices in the first half of 2012 to make personal contact and deepen relationships with the office brokers. Our strategy will include visiting as much of the state as possible, including in and around Asheville, Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh, Rocky Mount and Winston-Salem. We will speak with agents and brokers about the PRO$ Program, and get them to use our pro-oil materials.

· We will make approximately 1,800 calls to drive interest in presentations and material use.

· We will get at least 100 new offices to request and start using our materials.

· We will target top-producing Realtor offices in an attempt to be invited in to present during their sales meetings. This will give us a chance to “train” and teach Realtors about the benefits of heating oil, how to properly list and sell an oil-heated home, and how to overcome buyer objections to oilheat. If the opportunity presents itself, Warm Thoughts staff will conduct these meetings during our “on-the-ground” time in North Carolina, and will announce these dates so that NCPCM members can attend, if their schedule will allow it.

· We will follow up with all Realty offices that had a presentation or previously requested materials over the years, to consolidate these relationships and ensure they stay stocked with materials.

· We will reach out in an attempt to secure additional NCPCM volunteers who want to get involved with the program, and provide the necessary training and support to each volunteer.

· We will connect with select boards of Realtors in an attempt to schedule presentations for their larger membership meetings.

NCPCM and run 1 new full page, full color advertorial, and 1 new quarter page, full color ad in the Tar Heel Realtor Magazine. Both ads will be scheduled for the spring selling season. Advertorials are created to deliver substantive content about current pricing situations, new oil heat technologies and other timely, relevant, pro-oil information. It’s also our most effective way to reach every Realtor in the state with a pro-oil message

We will continue to expand the North Carolina PRO$ Facebook and Twitter pages, and communicate regularly about timely and relevant oilheat topics with Realtors in our “PRO$ Network”. By the beginning of 2012, we expect to see an increase in the use and availability of Google+, a new social media engine launched by Google. Should there be an opportunity to enhance our activities by utilizing this new social media tool, we will launch a PRO$ presence on Google+ as well.
